FROM HOLY NAME VOL II
1. I see on page 8 under INDEX OF NAMES the following:
Fly, Julia
Flute, Mary Ann
Flute, Charley
Flute, Bessie
Flute, Harry
Flute, Fred
Flute, Howard
Flute, Agnes
Flute, Harry Arthur
Is Julia Fly related to the Flute family somehow?
Also on pages 54 and 58 it lists marriages for:
Charley Flute - 18 Parents - Charley M Flute and Mary Ann Flute
TO
Agnes Heart - 18 Parents - Baptiste Heart
AND
David A Zephier - 19 Parents - David Sr. and Sarah Zephier
TO
Miss Bessie Flute - 19 Parents - Charles t Flute and Mary Ann Flute
Does any one have any info on the parents of Charley-18 and Bessie-19? Why is he listed as Charley T and Charley M?
2. I also see this marriage listed:
Charley Ree - 28 Parents Job and Lizzie Longear
TO
Abbie Bates - 18 Parents - Edward and Louisa Bates
Can anyone or does anyone know why Job and Lizzie Longear's son is named Charley Ree? Julia (Longear) Jandreau is my Gr Grandmother and I can not find any info on her family. I was just wondering if Julia is related to Job and Lizzie?

Sandy, Have you tried the church records that were on the internet from DBB office in Mpls.?
I know that they were taken off the internet for awhile, but did you have a chance to look at all of them? I saw all of these names on the church records. SZ

I saw all of these names on the church records. SZ Hey Sherwyn, Yes I checked them out and I am still missing a lot of info on this side of the family tree/bush. I think these people may not have gone out in the world too much as others have no idea who they are. lol But I will keep searching and hopefully I get around that brick wall made out of branches and crazy glue. lol whatever that means. I suspect that Charles Ree's mother had been married to a Ree to a Ree before she married Job Longear, or he may have been adopted by them.

i have nothing on Julia fly, and I didn't see her listed with any of the Flutes in my records.
I would suggeest you do a search for her at Ancestry and see what comes up.

WOW! Thank You so very much hermin1. Charles and Mary Ann are my Great Grandparents according to a probate that the BIA sent to my Father. I am a little stumped on some of this though. If you send me your e-mail I will send you a copy of the probate he received and you will see why I am stumped. This whole family has me stumped. My Father never knew his Father, so I dont have much to go on. My Grandmother died when I was 11 and she never talked about her husband/my Grandfather, so I dont know anything about him. My Grandmother never told my Father anything about his Father either. So my Father and I are pretty much in the dark here on his Fathers side of the Family. Thanks Again hermin1. Later, Sandy |
